Twixtreme is an ad-free, free twitter client for blackberry from the guys at Xtreme Labs. They call it the ’sweetest’ client for twitter on a blackberry, most probably referring to the UI and few animations.

Don’t be fooled by the ’sweetest’ tag though, Twixtreme has most of the features – uploading picture, mentions, favoutites, retweet, DM, trends, search, profile view – that you would want with a twitter client is available Twistreme.

Some Positives:

- Almost all the features that you expect in a twitter client are available.

- Ads-free

- Loads faster than UberTwitter(the most popular twitter client for BlackBerry)

- The UI is simple, fluid and has some ‘cute’ animations.

- When a tweet is opened, options to reply,  retweet or add to favourites are easily available.

Some Negatives:

- No customizations possible.

- There is no options menu.

If you are used to UberTwitter, you might not want to shift to Twixtreme completely. That said, do give it a spin, it’s free. You just might fall in love with the cute twitter bird flapping it’s wings
