Samsung first Android phone, the I7500 to arrive in June.

Samsung I7500Samsung will release it’s first smartphone to run on Google’s Android platform this June. The Samsung I7500 will be released in Germany sometime in June, exclusively via O2.

Earlier it was thought that S8000 will be realeased first.

The Samsung I7500 is a touchscreen phone. It doesn’t have any hardware keypad.

The retail price of Samsung i7500 is said to be of around €300 ($398) – not that much for a smartphone with features like the ones listed above.

Some of the rumoured features of SI7500 are:

  1. Android 1.5 (Cupcake)
  2. Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
  3. Dual band UMTS/HSPA connectivity
  4. 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display with HVGA (480 x 320) resolution
  5. GPS
  6. Wi-Fi
  7. Bluetooth
  8. 5MP camera with LED flash
  9. 3.5mm headset jack
  10. 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A CPU
  11. 8GB of internal memory
  12. MicroSD card support
